Getting fed up of this going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, a right downer.
The only thing I look forward to weather wise is seeing Carol's " warm fronts" first thing on the weather report in the morning :D:D

Fairly cheers me up during my first caffeine hit
Can' t wait until the clocks change .

Back on topic, even if Carols warm front is thing of beauty, the changing of the clocks is out of balance: clocks go back at the end of October about 7 weeks before the winter solstice, but not forward again until the end of March - about 14 weeks after the solstice. So condemning us to extra hours of evening darkness for longer.

Anyway john I thought the Scots were against daylight saving as it has a more marked effect for longer the further north you are.

John, the solution is in your hands - start work later and finish work earlier

SIMPLES :D

Ha ha you twat.
I told you I got promoted, more work, shedload more wonga.:clapping:
Only got a year to go before I pull the pin.
Gonna keep my head below the parapet for a while, might go part time next year before I succumb to the pension plan :D

Shedload more wonga, nice one and hopefully runs through into your pension. Watch the impact on the pension going part time though. If they use average salary or similar you don't want just a year or so of part time dragging the value down for the rest of your life. I know at my old place going part time down to about 50% hours could have a pretty drastic affect on pensions depending on the scheme and how long you had been in it. If its a money purchase scheme then make sure the company keeps up its side of contributions fully, not pro-rata.

I managed to go home in the light last Friday! It was amazing.
I left just after 5 from work.
I'd forgotten what it was like to ride home in the light.
So if its like that for me down south goodness knows what it's like oop north in Scotland.
