I nearly took the winter tyres off the car just before this hit. Had to drive the 80 miles to inverness this day. Glad i left them on. :)

Every day this week has turned out warm in the nice long sunny spells we have. Cold and raw in the cloudy spells though with a thin northerly. I have even managed a nice bag or two of trout on the river amidst clouds of hatching flies. A good spring so far. :)

Eldest & I split from the group at Grantown and headed for some dirt. Did the short stretch of General Wades road at Tomintoul (no piccies cos it was cold, wot with the snow thawing all round us ). I introduced him to an old road not too far from home . . .

Nice one Steve,

Did the Cannich loop yesterday. 90 miles only, but gave it yeehaa, roads were bone dry and absolutely deserted.
Just goes to show, only 90 local miles, but what a hoot :D

John - Popped past yours early this afternoon, but yer chariot was absent, so I guessed you were doing that "work" thing o_O

Nipped into Mitchells and I see Kevin has punted his Africa Twin. Mintier than a minty thing that bike is.

My chariot was indeed absent, had to go to work today, waste of bloody time.

Kevin hasn't sold the twin
He is doing his barn up and has nowhere to store the AT and a few other classics, also with sold stickers on.
Guess it prevents punters sitting on them :D

It is tidy though isn't it ?

From todays bimble into the hills - a reverse run on the same route as last weekend . . . . .

250 mile run on the VFR - longest one yet, and it was faultless (I know, it's a Honda, they are all like that :respect13:)

Really suited a lot of the open roads on the west coast, but I still have chicken strips - whats that all about

Woken by a full moon (no howling involved ;D) shinning through a gap in the curtains this morning, so got up and took the hounds for an early stroll and took a few piccies:-

Once the moon had disappeared, I got a shot of Dawn arriving
