Ooh, nasty! Hope you have a swift and painfree (as far as possible ... I don't like the look of that high-tech puller!) recovery.

I'll always do my best to make light of misfortune, but to be honest Michael I feel for you bro'. Your having a bad run of things and I wish you the best in recovery. (that puller stuff was known as "Chinese handcuffs" when I was a kid, locking one hand to the other !)

Yeah they called them Chinese Fingers. Same thing basically. 20 minutes of pre stretching and then the real pain started.

But yeah, bad run. 15 years and a quarter of a million km with nothing more than an occasional sprain and now hard down twice in as many years.

It's a bugger.

Latest news: Fracture has moved so cast doesn't work. Titanium bits in my future...

We can rebuild him.........

Not sure whether that's good news or not, to be honest. Hope the other bumps and bruises are healing.

Mixed news. On the one hand, not doing surgery is preferable to doing surgery, obviously. On the other hand, going in there and fixing it properly instead of putting a cast on and hoping for the best on an instable fracture...

One definite upside is that the cast comes off next week instead of sometime late next month. I hate that thing already and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet.
