Took a run out west on Sunday

Road was very busy looking West

Was going to go over the Beallach na Ba but couldn't be arsed ( burn the heretic I hear you say :) ) so took the A896 to Sheildaig. and what a delightful little road it is too. I had forgotten how nice it was.

And heading back towards Kinlochewe where I hooked up with two Dutch guys at the cafe. had a great ride back :thumbsup: They weren't for hanging around :cool:, excellent craic.
Great day out, good weather and a wee bit of a blast on the way back. West coast, you gotta love it

Seeing the Benno's truck stop sticker reminded me of Africa Jim's eyes lighting up at free seconds and then doing everything in his power to clear his second helping which involved a clearly overloaded plate dished up by Benno as some sort of challenge. I cant remember if he finished it or not but he gave it a damn good go.

Aye Jim was never shy in coming forward when free food was on the go.:p or free drink for that matter.
Still miss the the old bastard :(
