I stopped in a passing place, yes, I know, but I needed to clean my visor so took a picture to show the nice quiet single track.

Nice, but when you look over the edge you see this.

Old plaster and tiles along with loads of old carpet, this place is at least 18 miles from the nearest town so it must have taken an effort to go out with all that rubbish, WTF is wrong with people?

I can beat that, there is a graveyard, north of broadford on Skye where some campervans empty their toilet over the wall.

That happens all over, not good!
Councils are not helping restricting what you can take to recycle centers and in what vehicle.

Yeah, that. I live near the biggest woods in the Netherlands, and you have to pay to get rid of anything.

Makes sense in a way, but in the bigger picture it creates some perverse incentives too.

What Simon said, the more restrictionsthey impose at recycling centre's the worse it will get. When we're out trail riding we come across this shit all the time

We have the crazy situation here the council won't take anything, so people dump it, report it using Fix My Street and then the council come and take it away.
