hi all, as some already know my Yamaha tracer was stolen in the early hours of Tuesday morning despite having three chains + steering lock and ground anchor.
Credit to my insurance company ( aviva ) who have been superb making my claim simple and straight forward. So people, from bad comes good, watch this space for my next machine and keep yours safe.

Bloody hell Andy, you'd think that was enough security. I've heard from other peeps on different forums that there are a lot of thefts in the Midlands at the moment

It's always a risk having to park it outside. A bike can be replaced and no one got hurt.
Plans are in place and hopefully better security.

Glad to hear it's all sorted by Aviva (I am with them too)
Looking forward to seeing the new steed in the stables.......put any more chains on it, and you will have to name the bike "Houdini"!

Looks like a good bet with the insurance company, I am with them also, so good to know they are on the ball
But jeez, all that security and the fekers weren't even heard ?, what did they use - oxy acetylene ??
We are very fortunate up here, a wee bit here and there but nothing like down sarf.
I left the keys of my van in the ignition for all of last week, only when I went looking for them did I find them in the ignition , doh
Van was parked outside in my driveway

Good luck Andy
Get a rottweiler

. At least no one will profit from this one.

serves them right.....bastards.....:( my next door neighbor had his new AT stolen.....normally he has it parked at the back of his property with a car blocking the entrance. His wife drove off for about 45 minutes and the bike was gone........the f0ckers must have someone looking out for easy steals .....:(
