Tick tock

In a further variation from Dee Dub’s thread… going to chop in my GSA at Dick Lovett as it’s too big a beastie for my steep drive and it is literally an accident waiting to happen, plus I bought it for commuting which I won’t be doing now.
What makes this thread very exciting is that I don’t know what I’ll end up getting! So no one can guess right yet!
To give you a bit of a clue I’m in discussions with Fowler’s who have Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and KTM brands, plus I’m talking to Dick Lovett about a different BMW. That should narrow it down.

It’s surprisingly difficult to actually buy anything with dealers advertising stock they haven’t got!

When I tried the BMW 'configurator', it asked which colour scheme I preferred; I went for Triple Black. Later I chose lowered suspension, and it told me I had to have red/white/blue 'Rallye' style!

Similarly, I passed on the chrome exhaust and keyless, but when I chose heated grips, it told me I had to have a chrome exhaust and keyless. £510 for heated grips!

Ve vill decide vfitch options you vill haff!

Tock or tick this time.

I’m still no further forward, well apart from selling the Beemer.
There is very little new stock it seems.

Blimey, that's bad news Dave. If it's a Yamaha you're after try New and Used Motorcycles For Sale in Cirencester, Gloucestershire | Peter Hammond Motorcycles

They're not that far away (Cirencester) and the customer service is vastly superior to Fowlups.
Good link Bob I wasn’t aware of them.
I was after a new Tenere 700 Rally but they don’t seem to exist. However I’m thinking of pimping a new T700 myself up to the same spec.
Was looking to buy a CRF 250 rally as well but again no stock it seems.

Loads of low mileage 250 Rally's about, I wouldn't bother buying new.
