    I've hummed and haahed over the same thing. As much as the puncture repair convenience aspect, my concern is avoiding sudden deflation. However my Transalp rims don't have the inner lip to retain tubeless tyres (Chris Scott has a good explanation of this sealing wire wheels to run tubeless tires...

    Kurviger - another routing web-site

    In the excellent Kurviger, under Advanced Options, is a box titled 'avoid unpaved roads'. If you're on a heavy, heavily laden adventure bike, consider ticking that box. Don't ask me how I know this....

    So, how's the corona virus affecting you?

    Sitting on bike going brm-brm isn't really cutting it. Day drinking and naps OK for a while. But the instant we're allowed out of our burrows, I'm off to do a loop of Black Mountain Pass, across the Beacons to Hay and then over Gospel pass and home via Abergavenny. Can't wait.
