Hmm, I can see it from both sides. I've only been there once or twice & not for the last decade or so, it does/did get busy but does tend to be a bit of a free-for-all, bikes parked everywhere with few if any paying for parking on the Thursday eve bike night.
Is it fair that bikes take parking...

Rosedale is just across the moors from me, not overly blessed with campsites in the NYM I'm afraid. There is one at Osmotherly, Cod Beck thats quite good by all accounts

Reading up, people seem to chuck a lot of money on these bikes but if you want a bit more go a cam is worthwhile & quite good value for money.
Some iffy build quality but they have a pleasant charm on the back roads.
If the Hondas run like a switch...
I must admit, I thought BT had gone for good when it disappeared from tapatalk, I only rediscovered it recently & have popped in once or twice since & feel somewhat to have not chipped into the coffers for quite some time.
