    Fingers on brakes

Can't say I've ever ridden with fingers covering the front brake, maybe when slowing and passing a junction in case a car pulls out but generally, no... Like Austin, best to scrub the speed off before the corner (I know not always possible) because front braking and leaning tend not to mix...

I thought it had more subscribers than that, I'm pretty sure I have subscribed but if it's not auto then it might have slipped and if so something I will correct! Like I said, happy to chip into the pot to keep her afloat. Can't help with the server thing etc I know nothing about them.

Is this an addition, Andy, or have you got rid of the 750 DCT?

As Chris says, what sort of costs are we talking? A grand? Two grand? I honestly have no idea. I know I'm not so regular hear anymore but I'd still hate to see the site shut down so I will chip in each year to keep it running. I'm not a rich man by any means but there's lots of us here I'm sure...

    What bike to get next.

I've just sold my NC750 DCT but it wasn't because I didn't like the bike, it was a fantastic wee bike. I say wee because it just didn't feel like a heavy bike, it felt like a bike that weighed 150kg to me anyway, especially after the big DL1000 V-Strom. Andy is right about the fuel consumption...

    Thoughts wanted.

I had an Airhawk and it was good but not the be-all and end-all; same problems as mentioned above. Austin has hit the nail on the head with ride, ride and ride more! When preparing for the very first TLD (John O'Groats to Lands End), Derek and myself would do huge rides each weekend of 300+...

I guess you'd have to replace every part for it to be considered a whole new bike. Unlike triggers broom (which obviously only had two things to replace) I very much doubt that will happen and I think you can justifiably claim it to be the same bike.
