Took the NC out for a spin this morning, seeing as the sun was out and spring has finally arrived.

Rode out over the Dava moor towards Grantown on Spey and just had to stop and take a few shots of the Cairgorn mountains whilst they still have some snow on them . . . . . .

Torrington Cavaliers do a big charity bonfire every 5 years or so, this one is going to be Trumpton Windmill, here is the beginning and the rather apt notice due the amount of turbines and solar farms appearing in the area , this wil take until next summer to complete , then it will be burnt down in one evening , will keep this updated as it progresses i hope

I've bought a Tamaron 70-300 mm macro lens

I love it

we had the red arrows display a few weekends ago and i had the 150-500 on which gave stunning shots however when they came in really close i couldn't get the shots. Now considering getting a 5dmk3 in 12mths time, can't get one yet the other half will go loopy i've spent that much on stuff lately best let the dust settle first. Though then i could put the 150-500 on one body and something smaller on the other won't need to change lenses then :D :D :D

Thought I'd resurrect this old thread.

After giving the bike a full strip down and clean after it's winter duties, it was only right that I take it for a good shake down run

This piccy taken mid run, as I bravely rode away from all the rain . . . . . . only to ride into some more of the stuff o_O

I went to the seaside on Monday! A bit more sun would have been nice, but it was good to get out on the "new" bike.
