Well here are some more sunny snaps. A couple of views from the back road from Powburn to Thropton. Bikes at the Vale cafe Rothbury. On the road from Rothbury to the A68. Bike having a wee rest from the heat A68 northbound. Catcleugh reservoir. About a mile over the border at Carter Bar...

    People?

I stopped in a passing place, yes, I know, but I needed to clean my visor so took a picture to show the nice quiet single track. Nice, but when you look over the edge you see this. Old plaster and tiles along with loads of old carpet, this place is at least 18 miles from the nearest town so...

    A Picture a Day

A picture, well 3 actually from my wee 75 miler today round by St Mary's Loch, Megget and Tala reservoirs on what was a nice sunny day but with a brisk wind keeping the temp down. A nice little jaunt on the Scram and I am liking it more every time I ride it. Andy.

    Tick, tock, oh never mind.

No ticky tocky nonsense just to let you know I bought this last Friday. Great fun to ride and does just over 80 mpg, what's not to like? Mind you, the huge increase in bhp takes a bit of getting used to compared to the Classic, I mean, 24bhp means I have to be careful not to overdo it! ;) Andy.

    Small world.

I was sitting in the bike repair shop today drinking a coffee (as you do) when a guy came in for an MOT. I thought I knew the face and when he took off his helmet it was none other than Paul, AKA The Bimbler who now lives in Humbie only about 30 miles from me. I think the last time I saw him was...

    One down.

One down and one to go, I sold the NC today so that just leaves the Royal Enfield Classic 350 to be advertised and then I can look forward to being bikeless for the foreseeable future. :oldman: Andy.

Wow, I have to say I am humbled by all the replies to my post concerning giving up biking and I can honestly say they are all very much appreciated, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I can't help feeling a bit like I am letting the side down with my decision but it seems to me to...
