Not defending the speed but you only ever need to overtake on the inside if halfwits are driving in the wrong lane.

His pwers of observation are woefully lacking as he obviously had no idea he was being followed, never mind by a Police bike.

Silly boy.

Go to Rugby, take your race licence and use practice days. Cheap and easy, you don't get nicked and you don't end up a bonnet ornament.

There is that. But wouldn't you be just a teensy weensy bit suspicious if you were doing that speed and there just happened to be another bike up for a bit of high speed shenanigans?

He was a bit silly, I'll do above the speed limit (not 148 mind!) and usually sit around 90mph on a long run home. I will undertake but only if I've been sat behind a car that won't move and the inside lanes are free. He's just blatantly weaving through traffic and filtering at 100+, very silly and you can't complain if you get pulled for that.

The upside of riding a big trailie, then you can swing around and undertake the sleeping geezers at speeds that are at least somewhat near legal and not instant-licence-loss territory.
