3 more days in Quebec

Just a quick spin to ride Highway 381 which passes through the Grande Jardins National Park where the road climbs to 896 metres asl. It ain't much in real mountain terms, but May in Quebec has it's share of weather. I had mostly rain. Astonishingly my 45 year old Guzzi Convert plugged along without a hiccup. Oh, I lie. I had to clean and adjust the points, and the flasher unit gave up the ghost. Darn unreliable Italian junk.

Wow thats looks like a cold mucky ride. How long was the trip?

Points huh. I haven't thought about points and condensers and stuff in years. Fag papers to clean and dry, nail files to rub flat, bulbs on wires to set the timing and feeler gauges. A weekly task with a Honda 250 I had once. And with a Mini anne had.

3 days, about 1200 miles. Plenty of rain though, but only soaked through to the skin once and the temperature even got into double-digits for a while, so nothing to get excited about. Points are great -love 'em. So simple even I can cope.:thumbsupanim:
