It is Phil but I'm only 2/3 way there.

I couldn't start anything on the front end until the back was done so still got to rebuild the forks, have the front shock serviced and sort the paintwork on the engine.

Shocks away.....

Spent an hour or so cleaning again,

Feels like we're getting somewhere now.

Ian, are you going to be able to remember how it all goes back together again? I always have good intentions of making notes about stuff or deluding myself that I will remember how this goes back together again. But then comes the unexpected delay and when I do start to put it back together I always spend ages working it all out again.

Maybe it's just me....... ;)

Yeah, no problem.

I did refer to the photos to check the wiring for the back lights but other than that its been OK so far

Cleaning pretty much done now so I thought I'd have a practice with the paint before tackling the engine case.

Here's a first attempt on the fork brace.

I'm pretty pleased with it so fingers crossed the engine goes as well

And yes I know my garage is a mess but it's how I work and it's not as if I'm an F1 mechanic :)

Productive day today,

Fork brace painted, fork seals replaced, one fork leg painted and a few other bits fitted on the back end between coats of paint.

Now that won't have been cheap!

Top stuff.

I'll really have to get over now just to hear what Big Bird sounds like with that can on.

It could be better but without splitting the cases and powder coating it'll do for what I'm trying to achieve.

Lots of other little bits done too so really starting to get there now
