This happened last week or so, if something fell out of my boot on the road i'm sure they would do me for due care and attention or unsecred load or something.
This however actually damaged cars driving at motorway speeds on the A30, i've not heard thatany officer has been done though

I have a mate who is a copper and rides the meanest black Harley low-rider you've every seen and is a dude; recently my wife had her handbag stolen and the Police were very attentive so personally I have +ve views, although I can understand those who have had less than satisfactory dealings with them.

I do a lot of work with the polis and by and large they are all good folk. Yes as they dont know you they have to treat you as someone that may drop them in the shit at a moments notice and because of that they may come over as stand offish to us "civvies" but as a rule I find them fair people doing a sometimes thankless job.

Of course like any aspirational job that infers power to the wearer of the uniform there are a few complete cocks in there.

I can't say i've ever had any major drama's with them the few i've met all seemed fair and pleasant enough
