He was a regular poster on XRV for many years, I'm not sure that I ever met him off-line though. Sadly he has recently passed according to info received form een (also XRV).
I'm sure too some of you guys had maybe known or at least had chats online with him as I had.
Another sad loss. RIP Foz.

Shocking news. He didn’t live too far from me but I hadn’t seen him to talk to for a few years although and I did see and wave to him from time to time on his bike. He was quite distinctive on it. Nice bloke and a sad loss.

Yeah I remember the name, but I don't think ever met face to face, although I may be corrected on that. Not nice to hear all the same. Thanks for posting Nick .

Neil (Foz) came to all the Galloway trips except the last one IIRC. Not sure if he came to Piel Island and I am sure he went to a National or some other meets as he always called at mine for a bacon butty and I seem to remember providing several. Open face helmet, and had lived in Italy for quite a while before coming back to the uk. Mildly obsessed with foraging for mushrooms and equally obsessed with his AT - white fairing with that pastel colour sticker job (not sure which model). I am pretty sure he was a cabinet maker by trade which he had practiced in Italy restoring old furniture and the last I remember he was looking for similar in the uk. Like I said a nice guy and I got on well with him. Sad loss even if I haven’t seen him for 5 years or so.

S*&it .....I've just spotted this. We did an Italian tour together, all the way down to Tuscany and back with Chris and a bunch of others. Very sad news :( R.I.P

I chatted with his brother who told me he went into a diabetic coma and was found by a friend, he went to hospital and survived that only to contract Cov19 a few days later and died very soon after. A real shame I had not seen him for ages due to chemotherapy and not riding but having had my last scan a few months ago was told I am clear and thankfully riding again.

You know what, that is a very poignant photo given the sad news.
I remember him now.
Thanks for the photo and letting us know. Good to hear you have been given the all clear and back on two wheels.
