Hi chaps....just joined to see what the craic is here.
My steed is an Africa Twin RD07A, currently being farkled for a run to Nordkapp this year.
I chose the Africa Twin because of its reputation for being tough and reliable. Had it 7 months
now and done 12,000 miles on it in that time and all is good. Its had one minor trip so far, out
to Slovakia and back. Tyres are K60 scouts and have been on for 8,000 miles now and will do
at least another 4/5k. Over the 12k I've done on the bike, chain hasn't needed adjusting at all.
Averaging about 55MPG. So overall, happy with my return to a world without ECUs and multiple
sensors and glad to think that a small bag of spanners and some gaffa tape can fix any problems
at the roadside.
