Bikesafe 2014 at Castle Combe earlier today - wicked day

Is it a big trailie? It sees as much off road as 98% of GS's, Super Ten's, Explorer's, etc

Fowler's 1800 demo was fully booked when I asked! :mockery22:

It was the only Big Trailie sticker I saw, you should have got Wheelie to give them away. Hope you did well Chris you looked well cold!

I would seriously advise caution before test riding a GL1800. I fancied a test on one about eight years ago but I was warned by a well meaning owner of one not to go near it.
Didn't listen to the advice and this happened.

Much misunderstood fantastic bike.

Oh balls! Mate of mines just bought one of these, I wasn't planning of going down the large touring bike route yet, and he's offered a go on it.

Think I'd prefer a Pan to be honest.

I'm biased but all my mates that I've let have a go have come with a different attitude towards it. We used to do a lot of touring with a couple who had a Pan and when loaded he used to struggle considerably more than me, with higher centre of gravity.

Nice to see you there. And a big thanks to Barftone for helping out. It was surprisingly cold. I had to keep asking people to follow me into my tent, where it was warmer.

Russ, if you want to give me a few stickers or small leaflets I can have them on hand. A fair few people come up because they like my bike and I am sure they would be interested in this place.
