Local suzuki openday

Had an email a few weeks back from my local shop telling me they had a test day today so i went in and booked a couple ride's as i'm contemplating a present to myself for my 40th. Had a nagging itch for a gixxer for a while so ibook the 750 and the the 1000cc.

First ride this morning it absolutly chucked it down and visibility was next to nothing. I took the 750 and was surprised with the power delivery and and that the riding position was not as bad as i remember the 90's sports bikes being. I did enjoy this bike although with the weather i didn't get to see it for real.

Following hour i took the 1000cc which seemed a longer chasis slightly as i wasn't as close to the screen as i was on the 750 and the 1000 feel more relaxed. weather cleared up and i had a reel proper ride on this bike and it was completly awesome straight from the box, i loved it

Having finished and got back the guys at the shop were taking the piss and talked me into riding this thing i thought it was a laugh and a bit of a joke so i took it out anyway. It was fantastic and a real scream to ride and it had heated grips and seats so it dried me out as i was going. This was also a great fun ride but i'm not tempted to buy one this was the 650cc model and it went very well and didn't hang around really good for a twist and go.

As we were leaving one of the reps who was there from Suzuki was talking to me and my mate as we both rode the GSXR1000 and he was asking about what we thought about it. We both agree'd it was awesome better than the r1 and zx10's and he asked how we found the power modes. We both looked at each other blank as they didn't show us how to use them in the morning. He said sorry for that but if we put it in A mode it would have been in full 190bhp mode so we would have seen it properly. We looked at each other and thought shit, howmuch more has this thing got it was an animal in the default programme.
