There was a double engined Triumph a year or two back entered in the Classic Bike magazine "Classic Bike of the Year" competetion. If I remember correctly the guy that built it only got it insured after getting talking to a bod from Carole Nash (I think) that happened to be at a show that the guy was displaying the bike at.

Love the look of them but every time when i went to a winter-rally i seen LOTS of them being worked on during the night Ok at the Tauernrally it was in a garage but they where changing the clutch(where the fuck you get a clutch for a Ural in the Austrian Alps in the evening ) all night.Well i guess the reason it took all night had more to do with the "Refreshments corner" Proper fire Hazard,especially the stuff in unlabeled plastic bottles
