Just bought a pair of these as the TKC's are about shot.

Given up trying to fit the rear, I'll drop into a tyre fitters tomorrow. Bloody hell they're hard!

I'll report back how they are in use. MOT time Saturday.

Bit of lateral thinking. I can't hold the tyre in whilst levering so...

Cable ties to the rescue!

Now there's where you're going wrong.

You should have raided the kitchen drawer for spoons :)

To be honest Ian, me and Alex were fighting with it and gave up, you can literally support yourself off the tyre its that hard.

Put the cable ties round it, squeezed the tyre into the centre and ratchet them up. Popped on a treat then. If you are out in the middle of nowhere, remember to pack some decent ties.

What is it like on the road. My metzeler Karroo 3 has done four thou and needs changing soon. Brilliant tyre in wet too.

Tkc did about 3.5 - 4k, gripped well enough.

This will be on tonight, test tomorrow and then ride out the weekend.

MOT passed, good ride out lined up tomorrow.

Feels a bit slower to turn in compared to the TKC's, but could just be me. I know they are a lot harder.

Time will tell.
