With advise and also accommodating for the none campers among us now this years National will be at Rosedale which we visited around 12 years or so ago.

Plenty to visit and see in the area if you haven't been before.

The nearest shop and garage is in Pickering (9 miles).
The village has a small café / shop and a pub / Restaurant just out side the camp site open Mon - Sat- 12:00 - 2:00 / 5:30 - 8:00
.

Please put us on the list

I’m hoping to ride up after work on the Friday but might be a last minute decision depending on how ready we are for school opening

Please add me to the list oh Lofty one :clapping:

And, as an added bonus, it preceeds our wedding anniversary, so I can keep the boss happy as well.

Quick question - is the £22.50 fee per night?

Well done that man :thumbsupanim:

Yes and you need to call and book.

Ok, checked with the boss, her b'day is on 5th, she says yes.its ok. I will try and present myself better so that hudders doesn't think I look like a tramp ;)
I will be camp.

Hi, have any of you that have booked tents been given pitch numbers ?
just wondering where they are going to put us.

Have you looked at the site map?
There is a grass tent pitch area by the pods at the end of the campsite, which is out of the way, the rest is pretty much pitch numbers.
I was thinking of a pod, but unless the tents are at the pods, it's a route march to get to the pitches

She did say that if a few where in pods then she mentioned putting us down there.

That field in the back looks perfect for us lot.
Bit of a hike to the town shop, but nicely out of the way given we can be a tad noisy. ;)

As usual I'll figure it out during the year if it's happening for me, but that's a nice area.
