I'm looking to join, might bring my brother along too. It'll firm up closer to the actual date, depending on work and family obligations, but would be great to see everyone again!

Keen to get out on the bike, it's been too long!

If he's coming he'll be riding a rental, so I don't think he'll do any steep/loose gravel

National 2026 02 - 06 Sept

With advise and also accommodating for the none campers among us now this years National will be at Rosedale which we visited around 12 years or so ago.

Rosedale Abbey caravan park - YO18 8SA Home - Rosedale Abbey Caravan Park

Plenty to visit and see in the area if you haven't been before.

The nearest shop and garage is in Pickering (9 miles).
The village has a small café / shop and a pub / Restaurant just out side the camp site open Mon - Sat- 12:00 - 2:00 / 5:30 - 8:00

Anne has given us a small discount so ensure you tell them Bigtrailie when you book.

There might even be some green lanes to sample

1 tent / one person / 1 bike = £22.50
1 camper van / one person / grass pitch no electric = £30.00 (Vans must be camper style, No commercial vans)
1 POD / 1 Car or Bike / 2 nights = £105 (Minimum 2 nights)
4 nights = £210

No commercial vans, amongst other things.

You sure we're allowed on this place?

No groups, no majority gender parties, no noise.

I'll have to phone about the van.

If they blank it, I might be able to camp and put it in the car park.

Well , it looks like I have to miss this too. Daughter, her wife and granddaughter are coming to visit, only time they could get off work.
I will be 70 28th sept, would have been good to meet up, have a few wet ones. If they can't make it, then I will come down, but it's looking pretty solid.
