The Honda seat gives me arse ache after 100km, so I ordered an 'off the shelf' one from Top Sellerie in France…
Firstly, the original;
Comparison; It came fitted on an original Honda seat base. Apparently this isn't always the case…
And fitted;
Only ridden it around town for 20 minutes so far as my arse was still suffering from the 200km trip earlier. Biggest difference is that you sit 'in' it rather than 'on' it, much like an exaggerated horse saddle. The pad behind your back feels a bit odd, but I seemed to have got used to it by the end of the ride. Also feels a bit higher, but I think that's just because everything is at a slightly different angle.
