Off the Radar in Southern Spain!

I'd seen some unclassified roads and farm trails showing up on Google maps, but the streetview stopped with the two ends about 10 miles apart.

So what was it like between those two points?

Headed south to the Almeria border......then turned west onto the unclassified section......

Every few miles there were derelict farms and ruins of cortijos!

Views across the open terrain......

.....and then passing through what seemed to be more abandoned dwellings!

And here's a short clip!

I see that you passed a car at one point, was it rush hour?

No more please Pete, I am getting extremely jealous, got a spare cave for sale?

cheers, Bob.

I was shocked to see a car as well Bob.....put me right off my stroke it did! With that sort of gridlock I may need to get back on the forest trails I followed last week.

These stretch right across the area that I live......winding up through the mountains! I could ride for hours never venturing on a public road!

I'm sure that's cheered you up! :thumbsupanim:

The Welsh bit is fine, it's the 'Jack' bit that might scare Jason as he's from Bridgend which is posh (for Wales) :D

I'd call Cowbridge posh....but not Bridgend! It's tidy enough I suppose.....I do remember seeing a few people with teeth there. Not that I've been there for 25 years or so.

I can remember buying bikes there in the 70's......from Two Wheel Services and Les Griffiths Motors!

I'm a Jack who escaped 25 years ago......ended up in various different places!

Then finally got out of the UK for good in 2005 (Thank God) and I've been in a very small, rural town in the Granada province ever since!

Think of it like Banwen or Seven Sisters.....but with Dagos! Oh.....and donkeys of course! Say hello to my boy Dylan!

And we've got two horses as well.....Dewi and Bethan!
