Nice one Tony. Has the transalp gone?

Now, what about that shed warming party?

Nope Transalp still here and not going anywhere - other than out and about, of course. Should have said that "Eile" means "other" in Gaelic. :D

Shed warming party anytime you like. Still only have one working spare bedroom - for various reasons. But at least the shed now has double glazing. Not that it needed it but the wooden frames were well past their best and we were getting new outside doors at the time anyway.

Great stuff Tony. Can't beat a new steed to tame, I'm currently enjoying getting used to the Guzzi, 2 Sunday's in a row, got to be a record of late for me that! :D

Wow that's a beauty. I really fancied a Diversion. Good reliable bikes.

Eile got her new registration number today - on the second attempt. First time, couldn't find the chassis number on the headstock. To cut a long story short, the frame's been powder coated and whoever did it didn't cover up the number. Took about 30 mins with some coarse wet 'n' dry to reveal the chassis number. Difficult access and all that.

Anyway, job done, new number plate ordered, Carole Nash to ring on Monday with new reg number and a trip to the motor tax office to hand over €88.

And the sun is shining.

Eile's first fully legal trip today - thanks to Hotbulb for the tax disc holder.

Upper Lough MacNean.jpg

Pull in spot on the shore of Upper Lough MacNean. Fabulous weather and remarkably little traffic on the route I took today - other than in Enniskillen. Which is hardly a surprise as it's a Saturday on a Bank Holiday weekend.

Circular route was Bundoran, Ballyshannon, Belleek, Kesh, Enniskillen, Bellcoo - stop for photo - Manorhamilton, Kinlough and home to Bundoran. Only about 80 or so miles, but amazingly empty roads. I suppose everyone else was at the beach.
