My son has decided he wants a bike so if anyone has anything they're getting rid of. Looking at something cheap to start with, anything considered at this stage.

Cheers but was hoping for something a bit closer to home. Need to have a good look first, kick some tyres, pretend I know what i'm doing :)

Yeah the back yard is always better of course but 200 miles for a potential good un , well i never manage to find my bikes near to home. Last one was a 200 miler.

Anyway good luck with your search.

Thanks but think I have decided for an option that many, i'm sure, will not agree with!

I'm going to get him a Pulse Adrenaline. £1400 brand new with a years warranty. I know most will be against the idea but having considered a number of factors I think it's worth a punt. I just can't seem to find a good Jap bike that comes close in price even at a few years old. I doubt he'll keep it beyond the warranty anyway.

MCN gave a good review of the 250cc version....

Have to say I looked at that. Local dealer also promised to do a part ex on my daughter's 50cc. I just ran out of money, unfortunately.

Cheers Phil but have tried persuading him to lean towards a YBR but he likes the supermoto look.

He'll learn :eekicon:
