Turns out I had one of the BMW Sport helmets which have been recalled. The only reason it didn't go in the bin is because it had the beemer Bluetooth fitted and I hadn't got round to taking it out.

Took it back and I'm now the proud owner of a pair of Atlantis waterproof leather trousers. Colour me smug
