What instruments do you play?

Just got one of these little pocket analog synths to compliment the Monotribe.

It has a classic MS20 filter sound and a very noisy analog delay effect. The ribbon keyboard makes it almost impossible to play the same thing twice. (On the monotribe you can switch the ribbon controller to wide/narrow/key, on the 'tron its just wide). But the coolest thing about it is you can plug in a mic or aux input and filter/delay it. It's got a wee speaker and a line out.

To some, it's useful, fun and cheap as chips. To others, the ultimate annoyance. Especially when amplified...

Can you tell what it is yet ??

At first glance I thought it was one of those Rolf H Stylophone thingies!

Not much to tune in then Rog

Do you do your own?

Our drummer had double bass, floor tom and 6 mixed toms plus snare

It took me a day to set them up and in tune for live and recording. After that it was just half an hour each time until new skins were needed then a long job again

Hi Paul, I worked many years as a drumtech for a major drumshop, I have also restored and recovered many vintage kits in my time, once you know how to tune a drum its a breeze.

Bigrog.

I'm a guitarist

As great as our drummer was (Neil Peart [Rush] was his idol so he played in that genre) he could not hear how out the drums were until I tuned them for him

Hi Loggy.
In my opinion Tama make some of the best kits in the world, I used a Tama artstar 2 for ages, one of the best kits ever, great sound and build quality drums ever made. I have used a DW collectors kit for the past year or so but now gone back my old 1963 Ludwig super classic 22"/13"/16" oyster blue kit and wonder why I ever used anything else.
Am I a drum anorack or what ???.
Bigrog :D
