I'm Whealie (Chris Wheal) and I ride zebra-striped motorbikes.
I have two Honda Africa Twins - one heavily modified with Buano rally fairing, 42 l tank and an 18" rear wheel. I bankrolled Rugged Roads for a year, effectively
. I am a moderator over on xrv.org.uk - which used to be good until the new corporate Canadian owners started ruining it.
I am a business and financial journalist and I now have my own website covering motorcycle costs, such as insurance. Having edited insurance trade papers I know the industry and can help bikers with problems.
I also have a free phone app http://the-zebra.com/app/ covering reminders for MOT and individual service items. It also tracks your fuel consumption an will enable you to see how you care doing compared with others riding the same bike.

I'm back. I think DC had to change my password so he could log in as me and re-post. I then could not log in. Then I got a new password but had not set it up on Tapatalk. I have finally got my head round it all and am logged in from everywhere. Phew. 
The mass exodus of moderators from XRV is complete. I think we all resigned and have now been kicked off. It is areal shame what Verticlescope did to XRV. I'm hoping we can make this place the centre for the social activities we all loved.

Actually that's not strictly true. I never resigned, just not been very active. I can still log in as usual and do so now and again just to keep an eye on the place (but nothing more) and see how long it is before VS twigs that there's no one else moderating xrv but themsleves. Mind you, if the traffic drops off dramatically they might not notice for ages. Who knows.
