A day with the cats

On Sunday I took my daughter to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation for a photo day (a 21st birthday present from grandparents)

we spent the whole day with a keeper/photographer either inside the safety zone of the enclosures or actually in with the cats

it was a fantastic experience to be that close to the cats and topped off by being able to stroke a tiger :)

a few pics of the day (there's 100s more...)

Some of those big cats have a way of looking like you're a nice snack, don't they...

they do :)

some of them sent her diving for cover as they came racing towards the fence,

and when they can reach through the fence up to a meter you have to get out of the way fast

So lucky to be able to get so close to the cats to take those brilliant pictures
I am envious

I dont think Fish really wants to eat you Lulu, it would take several sittings i reckon for her to finish you off
