I had a run up to the Ayr vintage motorcycle show today, very nice run out and took a lot of pictures when I was there. The pictures speak for themselves so not a lot of words from me.

AJS 7R and a 250 Ducati raced by Bob McIntyre, with that kind of history they will be worth a few quid!

Raleigh 3 wheeler van from the 1930's, must have been warm in there with the single cylinder engine between your legs.

This was the bike park when I arrived about 11.30 and it was even busier when I left.

All in all, a nice day out but it was scorchio all the way there and back, I must have lost a lot of sweat, hell of a job, but someone has to do it! must apologise for the quality of one or two pictures, I must have had the shakes, what with the heat and all, not easy when you are an old fart.

Andy.

Good to see you in fine health and on the move Andy !
I had the 160cc version of that little Monza Duke back in 1972, my dad had a Panther 600 (shagged condition) and he also had that same trials Cub, He was a lecturer at High Wycombe Tech' and would commute there through the Chilterns Hills green lanes. He loved his bikes but had little respect for cosmetics, that bike ended up a dog too. I sold what was left of it for him in 1988 for £250.
