Bing Maps

    I don't know if every knows this but Bing maps has UK wide coverage of OS 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 maps. Its free too.

    Maps

    Select the drop down menu towards the top right (default is "roads") and select ordnance survey. As you zoom in the mapping will automatically change to 1:50,000 and then again to 1:25,000.

    Been using Bing in work for ages. Only got round to showing the engineers the OS trick last month ;)

    Do you need to sign in for that? I can't seem to find the drop down menu which shows the road/os option

    I don't think so .... you should see at the top right-hand side a little square map icon with a drop-down arrow alongside it. The OS map is one of the options from that drop-down, along with Aerial, Birds-eye etc.
