The title sums up today's weather, I was a bit later on the go today as I had to go and get the flu jab just after 11 AM. With nowhere in mind I set off down to Kelso and then across to Greenlaw and on to Duns. Leaving Duns I headed across the hill road towards Longformacus and Gifford. The pictures below are near the Duns motocross track.
After Longformacus the road over the moors is pretty bleak but that does not seem to worry the cyclists that are always on the road.
Just before you start to go down off the moor this is the view you get, on a really clear day it is wonderful you can see down to North Berwick and across to Fife. I probably should have used the zoom but there was nothing to steady the camera.
Back on the road through Gifford. Pencaitland and on to the A68 to the bottom of Soutra hill then over by Gilston to the A7 to Bowland and then home. A nice gentle run out and covered 130 miles without speaking to a soul.
Andy.
