Russ, i have had Mahout's spare bike about 6 months now and thats taking shape. I also have a 10k miles blue one as well.

Just keeping an eye open for others and any bent or broken ones too.

Love these bikes. They ride real nice too.

Probably find bits advertised in "classic Bike" magazine small adds, rare beasts they are. Spotted this add in our Spanish bike mart, just to whet your appetite, droooool the red one is for sale with the lucky strike one free for spares......only problem is the shipping costs from Majorca http://www.segundamano.es/baleares/cagi ... s&st=a&c=6

My mum and dad have lived in Majorca for 20 years so i could call dad to collect lol. its not worth 4k euros ...not in that color scheme ugh.

the spare bike may be of interest at the right price. i know guys who travel back in vans quite regularly.

Stan, you need to have a chat with Gavin from the elefantadventurebikes mailing list (you'll meet him in April in Lincoln) about his CRC Azzalin rallye bike, he's thinking of selling it.

Hi Richard,

I doubt if i could afford Gavin's bike :-0

The headlamps are all wired and working perfectly now, as soon as you explained it to me it bacame clear. I must have diagram blindness mate. All joints soldered and heat shrunk too.....very smart. The bike goes for MOT this weekend so it will be spanking along the roads at the first opportunity.

I am gonna run just one Fant and keep the other as spares. I have a completely rebuilt engine and will refurb all the other bits and stash them away.
