Guys..

Clutch on my transalp 650 is due to be cjsnged. It has been soft for some time.

I have ordered the springs because I know they are not homda the cork plates and the gasket...

What chances do I stand of saving the metal plates....shall I wait till I open up or just go ahead and order?

If you have the clutch apart may as we'll replace everything, it will give you peace of mind and you will know it is sorted.

The metal pressure plates will be expensive check they are not warped or grooved also thickness , normally they will will be ok unless clutch has been slipping badly and they get hot

You can get a EBC DRC kit that comes with all plates and new springs for some bikes , and is not hugely more expensive than the friction plates and springs alone
