No talent. I go by the Shotgun approach. Take a few and there is bound to be a half decent one in between them:cool2::D
Yeah i need to get some practise in before we go on our trip.
Always loved taking pics. I just discovered the other day that the 35mm negative scanners have come down in price soo much that i actually can afford one. We have about 3 shoeboxes full of only negatives which i would love to scan. We have stunning wild life shots from SA, so i think i might have to start paying for a bigger photo bucket account soon :iconmrgreen:

What kind of prices are you looking at? By all means do not get one of those cheapie handheld ones, they're not worth the money even if they were paying you. :D

I did the negative scanning thing a while back, circa 2010. Bought a Canon 9000F flatbed, for if I remember right around €250. Nice bit of kit, ridiculously overpowered at 9600 dpi but the good thing about this one was that you could scan 2 strips of negatives in one go so you're not messing with the thing every 5 minutes.

We tried one of those cheapies. Well, still about €80 at the time, and the colours were way off. Certain blues came out green.

Pity you insist in living that far off or you could come borrow the big scanner. :D

Or I just send you about 3000 negatives and you could scan them for me

Nice one Pierre. On the topic of photo's, do you remember way back taking a photo of my lock jammed in the swing arm causing a bit of a fire ? I'm selling the wheels and need to explain why the tyre has melted. A photo would explain it better. (Safe to post here if you have it).

Thank bro' (I'm still keeping a low profile for a while, hope to be back in the frame by summer !)
