Go every year to this local rally.
This year was a bonus as the Jim Clark rally in the borders was cancelled due to a spectator fatality. We suffered the same two years ago with a similar unfortunate spectator fatality.
So it was with much relief that the organisers stuck with it and staged it this year.
Whether on not it will continue remains to be seen
This year, thankfully there were no incidents
Here's a brief footage of the event.
Look out for 50 secs in, that's me and my two lads and my daughter at the log stage ( my youngest son wearing that green slime coloured jacket ) stood out a mile
Look also around 1.20 secs, watch the Talbot roll and Tom, the driver, shout his extreme displeasure of landing in the ditch
Good to see the older cars still on the go, obviously the escorts, but also the dolomite sprint ( which finished ) and the Talbot sunbeam ( which didn't ) Also an Anglia, Hillman avenger and a Mini
Anyways, enjoy the video, no snow this year
