Gear for all seasons, but mostly I wear the traditional cordura waterproof s. Leathers for dry days, and Airtex for hot days. Curiously I've never felt the need for more than one pair of boots, but I have LOADS of pairs of gloves! Waterproof, warm, cool, vented... You name it... Weird.

Seeing as I am definitely lacking when it comes to numbers of each item of kit, today I went to buy a leather m'cycle jacket. My Cordura fits like a glove but its a bit loose if I take out the quilted lining and its too warm for summer. I went to my local Dealer and tried on size 42, then 44, then 46, then a 48 but although this fitted across the chest, its the belly that caused the zip to stick. We'd run out of sizes with the 48 so I've returned home disconsolate, money still in pocket. I thought I'd just check the size of the nice fitting Cordura - err, 6XL. WHATS THE MATTER with younger bikers today that leather jackets are made so small - are they all Pedrosa fans or something??
PS Did get some nice summer gloves for a tenner and they fit like, well a glove.

-1 earplug. Put two in yesterday. Only took one out. Looked everywhere for it, in folds in my jacket, pulled the liner out of my helmet, searched the ground around the bike. Nada. Ultimate Ears too so not cheap. Completely baffled by it.

These are huge and moulded to the shape of your ear. Cannot go in, so must have come out.
