2 week rule Mike....if u still really want it after 2 weeks then get one :mockery17:
No new Africa for u then? Or wot about that new Beemer adventury thing?

I test rode a '14 bike, and really liked it... only things I can remember are thinking it was a bit lifeless under 3-4k revs, that the world went all blurry above about 8k, and that the screen didn't seem to have a position that worked for me.

Great looking big bikes Mike.
But at your age shouldn't you be slowing down. Something more like a 125 Innova :)
When I grow up I'll slow down, promise

Why would I want an Africa Twin?

The BMW a is sooooo expensive.

Mate of mine recently bought one and we had an evening excursion for a couple of hours with me on my CBR1000F. After stopping in Builth Wells, he was desperate for a blast on my new to me CBR and I eagerly lead on his GTR to Brecon via Upper / Lower Chapel. I was quite surprised how smooth it was, great fun playing with the screen, engine braking was sufficient, suspension allowed rapid progress. I felt you could travel some serious miles on it in a day. The engine had a lazy gait up to 3000 but then got going, the fairing would allow a comfortable 3 figure speed if lack of time outweighed mpg. Getting back on my CBR felt like a 250, it's a big bike for sure. Do it Mike, I'm sure you'll love it as well as Sian
