Seeing as I've signed up for the Galloway off road bash this weekend, via "advscotland", I thought it polite to take the plunge.

I ride a TDM900 and previously the TDM850 (with a Tourance on the back).

The picture is from Pic Negra Andorra/Spanish Pyrenees.

Welcome the the Mad House. What an introduction - one of Austin's Galloway Forest adventures.

I was going to say don't take the participants of this event as representative of the wider forum membership - but it would be fairly pointless. :D

Paul, welcome to the forum from me too. See you tomorrow afternoon. Tell the campsite guy you are with me if I am not already there. You pay me the camping fee (£10 per night) and I pass it on.

Hi, I'm based in sunny West Lancs, have a 1200GS and 990R (used to have a Buell Uly), would've liked to have got up to Galloway - looked excellent but too short notice. Happy to take other big bikes on the lanes in my part of the world if any : interest, cheers Graham :beer:
