These were the forks before and after a bit of a clean up when I sold it.
~80k miles, for quite a few years it had daily winter commuting and more latterly spending most of the year under a sheet 100 yards from the sea for a couple of years.
Completely original lacquer with virtually no tarnishing.
The wheels were also all but perfect, clean enough to knock some pampered garage queens' finishes into a cocked hat
Now, if that Chad, looked after Vaders bike properly from the start, it wouldn't have needed all this palava.
