Trans Canada Trail (TCaT)

While I was in Canada with Nick he mentioned the TCaT but apart from the main headlines I didn't know much about it. Anyway Nick posted me a link to the web based guide to the route that I had never got round to looking up.

Its 15,000Km long and nearly all what we would call "off road", but is definitely into remote and beautiful parts of Canada. I did a several hundred miles off road in Canada and USA and the tracks vary from easy, fast, hard packed dirt roads with a light sprinkling of gravel to muddy rutted messes. 15,000Km of this would be an epic undertaking needing something like 2-3months to do it all. By comparison, the TransAmericaTrail is 5,000miles (8,000KM).

More info here. http://www.graveltravel.ca/index.php?op ... on&catid=1 Canada is a place I would recommend to all: its easy to get to, the natives are friendly (esp Nick), its very cheap at the mo with a great exchange rate for us, and the off road riding options are endless.

I just thought someone may be interested.
