I have been having a bit of a tidy up and a have a few items that need moving on. All cheap and I thought I would offer them here first:

British Motor Cycle Gear (Belstaff copy) Discovery jacket. Size XXL. No warm liner though. Lots of use for 2 years 2008/09 and mostly in the wardrobe as standby since then, and still perfectly serviceable. I last wore it a year ago to ride up to Scotland to meet SteveT for the Durness bombing. I rode from Blackpool to Pitlochry in pouring rain most of the way, at 80+mph all the way. My right arm was slightly damp from wicking up the cuff and there was a bit dampness on my belly as I hadn't zipped up the inner zip, hadn't fastened the rain skirt, and one of the poppers had come undone. Standard armour in elbows, shoulders and back. Great bit of kit. umm, £40 posted or £30 collected. Can post pics of the actual jacket if needed.

Its one of these..... http://britishmotorcyclegear.com/jacket ... acket.html (without the warm liner). It comes up big - its an american brand now and is a loose fit on me.. Ideal for winter riding with lots of layers underneath.

Touratech tank bag to fit BMW GS1200 and ADV. Well used, slightly battered, the stiffener card doesn't really fit properly but everything works with just a few scuffs, frays etc. Includes a waterproof cover and all the fixtures and fittings, as well as the big map pocket on top - velcro closure a bit iffy. It could be easily adapted to fit any big trailie style bike with a hump shaped tank. I can't find a pic online so will post a real one tomorrow. £25 posted or £15 collected.

Honda Varadero Original Chain Guard. Black. Came off my Vara when I fitted a hugger so in used but good condition. £15 posted.

Headlamps from a 2011 BMW R1200GS Adventure. No lens. Lens can be had for about £65 via eBay. Includes two H7 bulbs. Good for spares or to repair and have a spare headlamp for those who off road and might break one. £60 posted or £50 collected.

2 x H7 replacement HID bulbs. Includes 3 ballasts (one purchased new from HID50 in April this year). I had a little problem with this set up a few weeks ago but with hindsight it wasn't the HID kit at all (my headlamps flicker anyway at tickover i have since found) but am making no claims as to whether they work or not (if I had a spare battery I would work out a way to test them but can't be arsed to refit them to the bike again). Also stainless steel bracket to fit a GS1200 adventure for mounting the ballasts. £50 the lot posted or £25 for the 2 bulbs and £25 for the bracket plus the cost of postage if split.

Its one of these kits http://www.hid50.com/Plugnplay.html but as its a few years old the tech will be bit dated now. It used to be Mikey's (Mabels Old Man).

If I didn't think the postage would kill us, I'd have the Belstaff clone off you like a shot. I'll happily pay your price + shipping if it isn't ridiculous. Interested in finding out? I know it will fit me.

While I was packing it up I noticed one of the cuffs is a bit more frayed than I remember. I hope ok still. I will dodge the raindrops and get down to the post office for a price, but looking at parcelforce's website it looks like it will about £35. Eek.

Postage is too high for Nick to Canada so the jacket is potentially still available.

BUT

While packing it I did notice three things:

the cuff as mentioned above - its the waterproof layer and its been caught in the zip too many times and is damaged.

I had to replace two of the press studs. I seem to recall replacing a couple of others previously.

The rain skirt is delaminating a bit. The rain skirt works like a snow skirt on a ski jacket and is part of the waterproofing of the jacket. It is elasticated and where the waterproof layer is stitched to the elastic the constant movement has caused it to start to delaminate. Its not bad and won't affect performance and waterproofness much, if at all.

The outer of the jacket is great and it looks great - way to good to go in the bin but with those couple of faults I am not going to sell for much so all I really want is the postage which going to be about £10 in the UK using someone like Hermes.
