I won't leave Chatham, Kent until late afternoon, so I'd probably better eat on the way up and see you lot in the pub. I'm hoping it's easy enough to work out where the camping field and pub are.

Hi Chris, with your back to the Yonderman cafe as though you're walking out the door, from memory the Pub is more or less straight across the road with the campsite to the right about 100 feet up the road

A walk about vid I couldn' resist posting (if it works - though you may wish to fastforward until the camera steady's)

The weather is looking settled and MILD for the weekend :)

Are there no rideouts then?

Rideouts? I thought this was a campervan, van, caravavan meet?? :D

Though with all the talk of insulation, perhaps a competition to see who's van is the warmest over night? hehe :D :thumbsupanim:

No cooking stuff required Chris.
Burger night if you make it in time, the three stags head does decent meat orientated food too & hearty breakfast in the Yondermann ( Jellies)

Sorry guys. Speedo playing up (Koso) and the last time that happened I had a major electrical fault. I am pretty sure disconnecting everything, spraying some some WD40 and reconnecting will fix it but it's a daylight job. Left Chatham (it was fine all the way there) stopped for petrol and phoned home saying if the problem was not fixed just by turning off and on again, I'd come home. It was fine for the next few miles then started again - going from 0-138mph in seconds then just sitting at zero. Had to make a decision at the M25, try a three hour drive and hope I got there or 20 minutes home.
