Going to have a look at the Campsite for the National plus i need a weekend away by than
Ride over on Friday,put up the tent and inspect the local pubs. Saturday and Sunday have a ride about maybe with a wee BBQ in the evening and the odd shandy? Easy start on Monday to get back home

Anyone interested to join us? :cool: :cool:
 
I am free that weekend,but I'm now wondering if going there for a looksy might take the shine off the surprise of going to the actual National. :confused:

ll have a think on it.
 
Just had a look on Google maps and it's only 254 miles, should manage that, even at my age! :whistle: :thumbsupanim:

Maybe ? Mrs Smith retires in Sept and we are looking to move that way Hereford/Shropshire/Worcs so may pop along even if it is in the car :( She ain't 65 yet by the way :) nothing wrong with being 65 thou :)
 
Not sure whether I'll be able to make it. Birthday of granddaughter no. 1 and I usually help out with party etc. so will depend on whether I'm needed there. Will confirm either way nearer the time.

Could well do for a day, its only 35 miles away, maybe show a few roads off. Supposed to be away twice in May, so may be pushing my luck with Modom!

Just make sure you do the run from Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle, Clun to Knighton. From there, loads of nice options, I did a run with my lad yesterday, very sedate as he is on a 125, nice though. :p
 
Ok we are booked in from the Friday the 2nd of may till Monday the 5th of may,so if anyone fancy's joining us we should be arriving late lunch early afternoon on Friday :thumbsup: :cool: :cool:
