We have not decided were we will go, when we go, or even if we go, but we have already decided how much beer we'll bring with us...

I wonder what would be the best?
Find a "home base" in Norway to use as a hub from were the daily trips emerges, and people can choose to ride long och short streches and everybody returns to the same location in the evening, or is it preferable to just plan a route with stops at different locations each evening?

Drinking and driving

Alcohol can have a serious affect on judgement and your ability to drive. The legal limit is 20 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliltre of blood. There are severe penalties for drink-driving. Some medications should be avoided if you intend to drive. These are marked with a red triangle.

It may be a slog to get there in the first place depending on ferries running etc. I'd rather stay put for a few days and ride out in different directions.

Mark: Yes that concept has many advantages! Those with road bikes can choose tarmac, and those with knobbies can follow the gravel trails.
It's just a matter of finding the perfect "hub" were we all meet up in the evening.
