I had a brief discussion with the old soup spiller and it looks like we are in for part of this.
As we have been to the Festival at Mainz (twice) before we will probably skip that bit but it would be great to meet up again with the rest of the gang somewhere up the Mosel.

Our plan is to leave on or around the 9th June and have 4 nights up in the Harz mountains. A truly beautiful place where hopefully we will get to go and see some of the places we missed last time as the weather then was so poor. Then on the Saturday we would then come down and meet everyone at the Mosel and stay for 4 or 5 days before heading home around the 20th . Travel to the continent would be on the Newcastle Ijmiuden ferry so if anyone else fancies tagging along and sharing the ferry costs then speak up. The bottom bunks are already bagged so make sure you have a head for heights (and a good supply of earplugs).

The full week (16-20th) has already been booked by someone else at Vs work & they only allow one manager off at any one time. She has requested if that person is able to change.
We'll see.

I can't complain too much as I have a week in France early July
