Thanks again guys for all the good wishes  It means a lot for both of us
I know that most of them are nothing to worry about but its just not so easy not to think about the other option.

Thanks for the invite John but every time i get near Inverness i feel ill the next day. I recon its the high altitude :D

So sorry to hear this Russ, I hope she can get home soon. Please wish her well from me. If I can do anything to help out (ironing, yes, block drive laying, no ;) ) please do get in touch.

Wish the wife all the best Russ, unlike Lulu I am too far away to do your ironing. :D

Andy.

I'm close enough to do your ironing but if you want to be able to wear you clothes again I suggest you get Lou to do it :)

hope Mel is soon back where she belongs

I don't know how to iron !
But all good wishes to Mel - she's certainly going through it ( and you too, Russ)

Here's hoping its one of the "good" skin cancers like what I have had twice..... Here's my ear just after I had the latest basal cell carcinoma removed in January.

I have a big chunk of ear missing and a huge keloid scar on my neck where they took a skin graft. But it's all gone and a basal cell is not malignant so it's all clear. Good luck Debs and as others have said be more assertive with the hospital and tell them what you want - the medical secretaries are the best ones to talk to and who can get things done.

Good luck and best wishes for a good outcome.

I'd fix you bike Russ, but you can kiss my arse if you think I'm doing your ironing.

Give our best to Mel, and don't forget where we are if you need anything.

Blimey I've only just caught up with all this. Best of luck to all concerned, may you all mend well and enjoy the best of health :)

Kissing your arse would be a small price to pay to see you ironing my boxers :cool2:

Is this some kind of kinky fetish you haven't told me about?

Does Hudders know?

Fiona and myself are still heading over as we have paid the ferry so will use the tickets. We're not going to Mainz though, I've not made plans yet but we'll head to Koblenz as a starting point and take it from there.
